We hope you all enjoyed the event as much as our staff and students did. These celebrations are never easy to organise and we are grateful to all those who helped and especially the 60th Reunion Committee.
We have had some very kind and welcome comments:
Thank you for a wonderful welcome this morning put on by your pupils and staff, I could not be more proud of being an “old boy” of the school. Peter Clark (Year of 58)
I am writing to thank you, your staff and pupils for the hospitality they showed to us on Friday morning. The welcome extended to us by your Kapa Haka group was both uplifting and humbling, one is not used to being regarded as the 'old' guy or a special guest. I was impressed by the way all the pupils that we talked with seemed so open and very proud of what they were doing and what they had achieved. The impression I got from walking around the place was that the students and staff were all polite, happy and all had a feeling of belonging. Jim Murdoch
Many thanks for you and your crew for organizing the 60th Reunion. The school sure has changed a lot in the 55 years since I left. The Friday tour was great and makes me want to come back to school again. The only class that looked the same was woodwork. See you all in 10 years time. Regards, Paul Warner
